Paola Feregrino is a cultural producer and community leader with over a decade of experience supporting the Mexican community in the UK. She has led cultural and entrepreneurial initiatives creating opportunities for hundreds of Mexican creatives and founders, strengthening ties between Mexico and the UK. In recognition of her work, she was honoured with the Ohtli Award in 2025 for her commitment to the community’s social and economic development.
13 years + Mexican Londoner. Freelance brand & design creative and Fashion and portrait photographer for 14 years that has collaborated with Mexican related events as well as Mexican businesses within the food market and retail industries in the UK.
As a photographer, he has been published by various online and print magazines and publications.
Oliver’s achievements include: Lo Hecho en Mexico winner and exhibitor at Museo Soumaya 2013, Highly commended and published in major newspapers by the Society of Nature & Wildlife Photographers in UK 2014, The UK Association of Photographers awards finalist and exhibitor at The Truman Brewery in Brick Lane 2015 and International Black & White Spider awards finalist 2018 & 2019.
Oliver has also experience documenting the war on drugs in his hometown Acapulco, Mexico.
She moved to London in 2021, she has worked in the film industry and television in Mexico. In 2020 she wrote the Documentary Serie called “Bioguardianes” for Channel 14 in Mexico. In 2018, she wrote and produced the short film ‘Camino Amarillo’ which won the first prize in the PROCINE contest in Mexico City about the Day of the Dead, her favorite Mexican tradition. She is always interested in promoting Mexican culture through her work. Currently she works as a freelance copywriter and screenwriter.
is a London-based Mexican designer, researcher, and cultural practitioner. She studied Industrial Design at UNAM and an MA in the History of Design at the V&A/RCA. Her work explores feminism, craft, and material culture with a focus on community engagement. Florencia has collaborated with the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Mexican Embassy, the Horniman Museum, and Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses, and has been actively involved with MexiBrit for several years, promoting Mexican culture and fostering connections between Latin American and British communities.
