Meet art-mkt taking part at 2020’s Mexican Christmas Market.
Nury: ‘I’m a pharmacist by profession and I have lived in London for almost 4 years. Although I’m fully dedicated to my 3 1/2 year old daughter, I have now found a passion in crafts, mainly crochet. My passion has taken me to create things such as amigurumis, ponchos, baskets, coasters and more. My plan is to continue to widen my portfolio of crafts whilst handcrafted work from Mexico. This with the sole purpose of promoting Mexican art and Talent”
I’m from Mexico City so I like the big cities such London, enjoy with people and festivities, so I like the noisy places and see happy people share anecdotes, dancing, etc
As Mexican mum with a daughter, I love to celebrate with her all our Mexican traditions and our favourite is Dia de Muertos, set up the altar and decorations related with this special day for ours.
We enjoy attend all events related our tradition, such as posadas, ask for “calaverita” (trick or treat), celebrate Children day and of course Independence Day
