Meet Gina Sweet Bracelets taking part at 2020’s Mexican Christmas Market.
A home business born from the pandemic out of founder Gina loosing work due to the situation, she found some materials at home and started to tackle her own anxiety making bracelets and necklaces. Friends began to buy and encouraged her to sell to others too. Gina then started to sell her personalised bracelets amongst young people on King’s Road which give her the idea to create a series with Mexican phrases. ‘My next step is to find more people like me who suffer from anxiety, maybe a charity , once the brand is established.’

Gina: ‘I’m a mexican architect living in London. I’ve been living here since 2017. Love put me here, Im happily married to a londoner.
I’ve been taking this years away from architecture, but not from design. My creative brain always pushes me to stay active, even when my anxiety is really bad.
I love posadas, who doesn’t? In my family we used to go to our great grandmother’s house and make the first posada there which is on Dec 15th . We used to sing, do delicious food & pinata.’
