Learn with Claudia from Piastro Mexican Kitchen, the history of Mexican Día de Muertos Ofrendas and join us setting one up so you can confidently set up your own at home to remember your loved ones who have passed on this special day. We will be using ingredients and items from Mexican Mama.
Claudia is a food anthropologist and cooking instructor; she is currently researching Mexican traditional female cooks and their role in the promotion of Mexican gastronomy. She is also the author of the forthcoming book ” Eating like an Israeli: Gender, Food Culture and Nationhood”
