Roger Alarcon is a freelance photographer with a degree in Engineering from the National University (UNAM) in Mexico City, where he first discovered his love for photography.
His professional career as a photographer started in 2012, when he covered the Olympic Games and the Diamond Jubilee. During the dual year Mexico-UK 2015 he covered almost the totality of events, including Glastonbury Festival, the Mexican Ambassador’s closing ceremony of the dual year and The Day of the Dead Festival by the Restaurant Wahaca. Some of his work was printed in the memoirs of the dual year given to the governments of Mexico and the UK, sponsored by Barclays.
Roger has numerous of publications in newspapers and magazines in Mexico, France and the UK: he collaborates with the leading news agency NOTIMEX UK and other newspapers for the Spanish-speaking communities in London. Furthermore he has absolved two courses in Photography Direction at Raindance Film Centre
2018 he was the winner of the prestigious Camaradas Art Contest at Espacio Gallery, London. In the Present time, he does fashion , products, red carpets, actors, actresses, models, concerts and privet events, been one of the best 70 photographers in London
Also collaborate with different embassies in uk and State visits. And gives feed for British Newspapers trough Rex and Avalon Agencies
