Next month in October it will be Bishopsgate Dental Care 10 years anniversary, a milestone that I will be celebrating with my staff!’
MexiBrit -You’ve been in London for quite a few years now (how many?) Does it feel like home these days? Does it keep surprising you? and in what way
Gina: I have been in the UK for nearly 20 years so London to me is my home, I am married with two children so my home will always be where they are!
London it’s such an amazing City and I love it; I especially love the architecture and the scenery.
I definitely say that London will always surprise me and in many ways, some positive like tolerance and the diversity of its people and some negative like the bureaucratic red tape that accompanies every single business transaction!
MexiBrit – This week we celebrate Mexican Independence Day, what does it mean to you to be Mexican in 2020?
Gina: I am and will always be proud to be Mexican, obviously now in 2020 it hurts me that Mexico is having such a tough time with the Pandemic and that the lack of leadership is having such a negative effect in the economy and stability of the country.I love talking about the positives of Mexico to anyone that is happy to hear about it, and to my surprise it’s almost everybody! Mexico is such an interesting country, with so much history and biodiversity that it intrigues anyone!
MexiBrit – What makes you homesick the most?
Gina – Music, listening to Mexican music makes me want to be back in Mexico enjoying the company of my family and friends.
MexiBrit – Where are the best tacos in London/UK?
Gina: At the moment I have 2 favorites, Santo Remedio and the food done by one of my friends Susana, who cooks delicious Mexican food a few times a month and delivers to my home…I feel spoiled!
MexiBrit – What neighbourhood do you live in, and what is the best thing about it?
Gina: I live in the Southeast in Bromley, I have always lived in the suburbs and enjoy it very much. Definitely the best thing about it is that on public transport, within 20 minutes I am in central London, it is so well connected that allows me to enjoy both the City and the suburb life!Visit Bishopsgate Dental Care here.
