New Mexican restaurant in London: Cavita, authentic Mexican cuisine!

By Viridiana Marin Marin

Debut Mexican-born chef Adriana Cavita is ready to open a new Mexican Restaurant in London on 20th May. Cavita restaurant, on Marylebone’s Wigmore Street, is a new opportunity for Londoners to try authentic Mexican cuisine in the heart of London.

Adriana Cavita trained back in Mexico City and she tells her story of her heritage and the people who taught her the craft of cooking through her dishes. She traveled around Mexico to learn more about its food history which set her on the path she follows today, cooking over charcoal, using the ingredients of Mexico in their rawest form.

Fire and charcoal give a unique flavour, it takes practice to speak with the fire and understand the skill behind these ancient techniques.

Adriana moved to the UK to work alongside as Head Chef at Peyotito in both London and Ibiza, recently she completed her residency on the rooftop at The Dorchester, and now this Mexican-born chef is ready to open her own restaurant that offers a menu of authentic Mexican cuisine in London.
