Get ready, taco lovers! The Tacover Taco & Tequila Festival is back for its third year and promises to be the biggest Mexican food and drink festival ever to take place in Europe.
After seven sold-out festivals in just three years, The Tacover returns to Richmond from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 August 2026, bringing together up to 40 incredible traders, award-winning taquerias, tequila and mezcal, live entertainment and plenty of Mexican flavour.
Tacos, Margaritas & Awards
Home to the National Taco Awards, the festival will once again see traders battle it out for coveted titles including:

🏆 Best Margarita
🏆 And more!
All taco traders will offer a minimum of three tacos each, with single tacos capped at £4, including at least one vegan option.
New for this year, there will also be even more Mexican street food stalls, serving everything from tamales and tostadas to elote and chicharrón, creating the feel of a bustling market in Mexico City.
Tequila & Mezcal Fest
Festival-goers will once again enjoy free access to the Tequila & Mezcal Fest area, where you’ll be able to:

As the UK’s biggest and original agave spirits festival, Tequila & Mezcal Fest continues to be one of the highlights of the weekend.

Introducing the Mexibrit Area & Stage
This year, we’re incredibly excited to once again host the Mexibrit Area, bringing even more authentic Mexican culture and community spirit to The Tacover.
The Mexibrit Zone will feature:
🛍️ A curated Mexican craft market showcasing independent businesses, makers and artisans.
🎤 The Mexibrit Stage, programmed throughout the weekend with live music, DJs and performances, including:
