This past Saturday, something powerful happened. Our community — along with allies from across the UK — gathered in London to say loud and clear: No More Mass Deportations.
Organised by MexiBrits, this protest was a true show of what solidarity looks like. We rallied our community, spread the word, and stood shoulder to shoulder to demand justice for those being targeted by the U.S. government’s aggressive deportation machine. It wasn’t just about showing up — it was about sending a message that we see what’s happening, we care, and we won’t stay silent.
At the heart of it all was one truth: Families Belong Together.

While many are affected by these violent immigration policies, it is overwhelmingly the Latin American — especially the Mexican — community that is being torn apart. Families are being separated. Children are growing up without parents. People are being stripped of their rights and dignity.
Even thousands of miles away from the United States, our voices matter. On Saturday, through chants, music, banners, and stories, we made it clear: we may be across the ocean, but we stand with our people.
This action wasn’t just about one day. It was about building power, building visibility, and reminding ourselves and others that our voices matter. Whether you’re directly impacted or standing in solidarity, there’s a place for you in this movement.
To everyone who came, shared, spoke, sang, or simply stood with us — thank you. This is how we resist. This is how we love. This is how we keep showing up.
✊ Deportation is not the answer.
❤️ Solidarity is.
